Process

From consultation to delivery.

How it works
  1. Consultation table in a Bogotá atelier: two cups of black coffee, an open notebook and linen and wool swatches. Brick and hills through the window.

    Your idea

    A private consultation, in Bogotá.

  2. Three pencil sketches of the mandarin-collar shirt with embroidery variations, beside gouache studies in green, cobalt and copper.

    Sketches

    Three proposals from the designer.

  3. The chosen sketch on a cork board, with a linen swatch, a card of green, cobalt and copper threads and a tailor's tape.

    Choice

One proposal chosen. One round of adjustments.

  4. The ivory shirt on a dress form by the window, its embroidery half done, a hoop on the shoulder.

    Workshop

A pattern to measure. Made locally. Fittings.

  5. The ivory shirt folded in a box with tissue paper, beside a card with a green wax seal.

    Delivery

Signed by the designer. The 1/1 certificate.
